The Canadian Resort Development Association (CRDA) and the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) have announced a new working partnership aimed at maximising synergies between both.
The two organisations will work together on various initiatives to represent the shared ownership product in the liaison with governments and consumers and to enhance the level of professionalism in the industry.
According to the associations, there has never been a better time for a strategic alliance between them. With the Canadian dollar approaching parity with the US dollar, consumers travel back and forth across both regions more frequently, and both countries are facing similar challenges and concerns.
One of the first initiatives as part of the new alliance will be to present an attractive CRDA membership opportunity to ARDA’s existing members. They will also work together on events such as conferences, membership, legislative issues and other projects.
