RDO has turned to micro-blogging site Twitter in its latest effort to engage with the media, the industry and consumers and keep them informed. RDO’s official Twitter feed @RDOOfficial has regular updates, news and comments on all matters relating to timeshare.
While the official RDO tweets focus mostly on news, RDO’s Head of Operations, Sue McNicol, has also started her own Twitter account @SueMcNicol where she offers views on a wider range of topics and expects to engage in debate with other fellow industry professionals.
“In this day and age social networking sites have become an essential communications tools on every field, from politics to celebrity gossip, and it’s a tool that the timeshare industry must also embrace,” said McNicol. “We hope our tweets will not just inform, but inspire people to post their own comments, or even rants. I look forward to a proper timeshare Twitter debate!”
