Frank Chapman, timeshare pioneer and RDO Board member was presented the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the ARDA World gala dinner on Wednesday April 4th.
Mr Chapman was honoured for his contributions to timeshare over the course of the last five decades; he brought the timeshare concept to the UK in the mid 70s, having developed the first resort in the Highlands of Scotland and then went on to an extremely successful career in the industry. A founder member of RDO, he has also been chairman of RDO’s UK Chapter since the organisation’s inception.
Commenting on the award, ARDA CEO Howard Nusbaum said “I can think of no more deserving person for this ACE Lifetime Achievement Award than Frank Chapman who was a pioneer of the European Timeshare Business. He selflessly worked to create an ethical business delivering on vacation dreams and brought other developers together with his positive vision”.
