Hapimag Announces High Occupancy Levels in Switzerland Despite Strong Franc

Hapimag has again been able to maintain its high occupancy rates of recent years during the summer of 2011.

Beach destinations such as La Madrague in France or Paguera in Spain, the newly opened city residence in Dresden in German and the resorts and residences in Switzerland proved particularly popular. The upcoming winter season is also looking promising.

Hapimag again recorded more than one million overnight stays during the months of July, August and September. The occupancy of all 57 resorts and residences during the summer months remained at a consistently high level of 87.2 per cent (previous year: 87 per cent). In total, Hapimag welcomed over
127 000 people to its facilities this summer (previous year: 120 000). 28 of the 57 resorts and residences achieved an occupancy rate of over 90 per cent during the summer months. The highest occupancy rates of over 97 per cent were achieved at La Madrague (FR), Bad Neuenahr (DE), Antibes (FR), Paguera (ES), Cefalù (IT), Dresden (DE), Cannero (IT) and Binz (DE).

Despite the strong franc, the Swiss resorts and residences were able to maintain high occupancy levels – 91.9% (previously 94.7%). In Germany this was 89.6% (previously 90.1%) and in Austria 71.7% (previously 76.5%)
