Holiday Club Resorts has signed a new agreement with RCI.
The Finland-based developer is the largest European timeshare developer, with resorts in Finland, Sweden, mainland Spain and Gran Canaria. The new affiliation agreement brings Holiday Club Resorts and RCI together for a new term, with 36 existing Holiday Club Resorts properties continuing to be a part of RCI’s affiliation network.
Vesa Tengman, chief executive, Holiday Club Resorts, said, “We have had a long, beneficial relationship with RCI, and given the value of the exchange product to our owners, we are pleased to have re-confirmed our business relationship for future years.
“We have undergone some important changes in our business in recent years – entering new markets such as the Canary Islands. We look forward to taking our business to the next stage with RCI’s exchange network being a key element of our product offering,” Tengman continued.
Dimitris Manikis, vice president, RCI Business Development, Europe, Middle East and Africa, said, “We value our relationship with Holiday Club Resorts and this agreement means we will support them into the future, as this excellent business continues to grow. Holiday Club Resorts is a leader in the European timeshare marketplace and we’re delighted they have chosen to continue to strengthen their business with us.”
Holiday Club Resorts, originally known as Suomen Lomapörssi, affiliated its first timeshare resort, Punkaharju, with RCI in 1989.
