Interval International and Marriott Vacation Club recently hosted Shared Ownership Investment Conferences in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. These events offered an industry overview to attendees considering entry into the business or conversion of an existing asset.
Experts who led conference sessions included Darren Ettridge, Interval’s senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia (EMEAA). David Clifton, Interval’s senior executive of business development for EMEAA; Sherif Khalil, Interval’s vice president of resort sales and business development for the Middle East and North Africa; Maurizio Bisicky, Marriott Vacation Club’s regional vice president of sales and marketing for Europe and the Middle East; Al Mohannad Sharafuddin, chief executive of Arabian Falcon Holidays; Ashraf El Zarqa, chief operating officer of Emirates Vacation Club; Dr Khalid Kadfoor Al-Mehairi, chairman of Emirates Advocates and Legal Consultants; and Wahid Attala, chairman of B&G Hotels and Resorts.
Also on the programme were opportunities for delegates to network and learn more about successful sales, marketing, and resort operations from the impressive roster of speakers. Attendees were drawn from across the United Arab Emirates and included hoteliers, real estate and property developers, government officials, and finance company representatives.
