Interval International has announced the promotion of Marcos Agostini to senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Latin America. He reports to Craig M. Nash, chairman, president, and CEO of Interval and ILG.
In this position, Agostini oversees the sales and service team that manages Interval’s resort relationships in Central America, South America, and Mexico, and plays the lead role in building the company’s developer client base in these regions. In addition, he is responsible for the resort affiliation, service, and marketing of Preferred Residences®, a branded membership and exchange program for luxury shared ownership resorts, private residence clubs, and condominium-style hotels, in the same territory.
“Marcos has made significant contributions to Interval’s success throughout his career by growing our resort network and member base in the key markets he manages,” said Nash. “His extensive knowledge of the region will continue to be an asset as we expand our presence in Latin America.”
Agostini joined Interval in 1993 as a vacation advisor in the company’s Venezuela office and since then has held positions of increasing responsibility in operations and resort sales and service. Most recently, he was vice president of resort sales and service for Latin America.
He serves on the board of directors of the Mexican Resort Development Association (AMDETUR) and is an active participant in the Colombia Timeshare Association (ASTIEMPO). Agostini is also a member of the American Resort Development Association’s (ARDA) Chairman’s League.
