Interval International announced the affiliation of La Gran Reserva Anapoima in Colombia to its exchange network. Located on the outskirts of the exclusive tourist destination of Anapoima, southwest of Bogota, the master-planned community will feature 69 fractional villas. It is being built by well-respected developer Constructora Bolívar S.A. that owns and operates Zuana Beach Resort, a successful timeshare property in Santa Marta, Colombia.
The simple architectural lines of La Gran Reserva Anapoima will complement the property’s beautiful mountain setting. Spacious villas will be surrounded by lush vegetation and have a tropical, contemporary décor with high-end appointments and finishes. Each open-plan villa will have 2,205 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, five bathrooms, wireless Internet access, and 42-inch flat panel TVs. An expansive patio area with covered dining will surround a private pool. Owners and guests will enjoy a variety of planned onsite amenities, including three tennis courts, gym, playground, and jogging and bicycle trails.
“This project is the beginning of a new chapter in our business and continues the successful relationship with Interval that began more than a decade ago,” said Carlos Arango, president, Constructora Bolívar S.A. “We look forward to introducing our existing owners, new buyers, and Interval members to this unique development and its upscale amenities in the spectacular Andes Mountains.”
A favorite weekend escape for Bogota residents, Anapoima is known for its year-round temperate climate and numerous attractions such as the Rumihuaca Castle built in 1947, and the medicinal baths of San Lucia and Santa Ana. Other nearby attractions are Mesa de Yeguas Golf Course and El Pozo Caves.
