Management Changes at Diamond Resorts International® as the group celebrates another strong year

Stephen Cloobeck, Diamond Resorts International® founder and chairman, has announced a number of key changes within the group, following another very successful year for the brand in 2012.

David Palmer will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, while Al Bentley, who has been serving as Executive Vice President – Europe and also sits on the RDO Board, will take on the role of Chief Financial Officer.

Announcing the new titles, Cloobeck said: “In addition to these great operating achievements, we successfully acquired and integrated Pacific Monarch Resorts (with 8 resorts in the U.S. and Mexico) and Aegean Blue (with 5 resorts in Greece) into the Diamond network.

“These two acquisitions allowed us to expand our footprint of managed resorts and welcomed nearly 100,000 new members to the Diamond family.”

Cloobeck continued: “I’m very pleased to announce that David Palmer will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. We’ve asked Al Bentley, who has been serving as Executive Vice President – Europe, to assume David’s role of Chief Financial Officer.

Diamond Resorts International® is well known for its customer service-centric business model, embodied in the group’s The Meaning of Yes® philosophy which permeates throughout the entire organization.

Looking ahead to another strong year in 2013, Cloobeck said: “My personal commitment to the success of our company is stronger than ever, and you will continue to see me at our resorts interacting with our team members and guests, constantly striving to find ways to improve our commitment to The Meaning of Yes®”.
