The Registry Collection, celebrated the joining of onefinestay to its growing portfolio of extraordinary properties at the 2012 Fractional Summit held in London on 27 February.
onefinestay, the first unhotel hospitality product, redefines the experience of visiting London by having guests live like a local by staying in a distinctive home while the owner is out of town. There are more than 350 elegant, exceptional and distinctive luxury homes throughout Central London in the onefinestay portfolio and, while the guests live the London life, the home owners go off on holidays of their own. Guests enjoy luxury amenities such as five-star hotel linens and toiletries from The White Company. All guests receive iPhones for the duration of their stays, which are stocked with local tips and helpful videos recorded by the home owners, and from which they can make free local calls. onefinestay members benefit by earning an income from a house or apartment which would otherwise sit empty.
Co-founder and CEO of onefinestay, Greg Marsh, announced a pilot programme involving the affiliation of around 30 onefinestay London homes with The Registry Collection, with high hopes of rolling the programme out more widely. The announcement was made in the opening session of the 2012 Fractional Life Summit, where the contract was signed over a celebratory dinner. He said, “onefinestay gives city travellers the best of both worlds: guests get to stay in a beautiful and characterful real home in the most charming residential parts of town. They benefit from space, light and comfort, while still enjoying the services and amenities of a boutique hotel.
Among the distinctive central London properties in onefinestay’s portfolio are a grand townhouse in South Kensington, a pied-a-terre in aristocratic Mayfair, a family home in leafy Primrose Hill, a bachelor pad in trendy Shoreditch and a palatial home in stately Knightsbridge.
