Sponsorship opportunities are now available to OTE members who wish to promote their brands on the new timeshare website www.gotimeshare.org and related microsites.
The website aims to counter negative online coverage about timeshare in Europe, and has proven to be very successful in its first couple of months.
The site received just under 3000 unique visitors in February. Nearly half of the traffic (44%) came from search engines like Google or Yahoo UK, where the site is starting to feature prominently in searches for ‘timeshare’ or ‘timeshare news’. Traffic from search engines is rising by 10% each week.
“The site presents great opportunities for companies to be associated with positive, success stories about timeshare,” says Paul Gardner Bougaard, OTE’s Chief Executive. “On the other hand”, he adds, “we need the financial support of our members to ensure that the site can continue to develop and achieve its objective.”
OTE is offering members two different tiers of sponsorship, as well as the option of companies simply being listed on the website, with their contact details and a link to their website.
The Tier One sponsorship package, which starts from €4,000 per year, gives members the opportunity to display their logo and a brief description of the company, plus an 800 word feature about one of their properties.
Those wanting a bigger online presence may opt for Tier Two, which also includes banner advertising, and the opportunity to submit four articles or resort features per year for publication on the website. The price for this sponsorship package is €6,000 per year.
