Interval International has recently announced the affiliation of Arco del Saracino on Italy’s Salento Peninsula, and Villas d’Agua in the Portuguese Algarve to its global vacation exchange network.
Arco del Saracino is located in the village of Lido Marini, in a relatively unknown part of Italy which is reminiscent of Greece “with its shallow turquoise-sea beaches, marine grottoes and forest of wind-twisted pines”. The resort has 66 one- and two-bedroom timeshare villas, a restaurant and pizzeria, tennis court and swimming pools. A complimentary shuttle takes guests to a private beach, where they can enjoy a range of water sports.
Villas d’Agua is located in the fishing village of Olhos d’Agua, famous for its olheiros or freshwater springs. Covering five acres on a pine-forest covered cliff, steps from Olhos d’Agua Beach, the resort includes 37 timeshare apartments and a spa offering thalassotherapy health and beauty treatments based on the healing properties of seaweed and salt water. Guests can also enjoy the resort’s swimming pool, health club, bars and restaurant and receive special rates at local golf courses and tennis clubs.
