The Ealing Golf Club in West London has been confirmed as the UK venue for the Group RCI Christel House Open charity golf tournament, which is played simultaneously across five continents.
The Ealing Golf Club is a challenging, yet not physically demanding, par 70, 6191 yard course designed by Harry Colt, the renowned designer of Wentworth, Sunningdale and Muirfield.
The date of the international golf tournament will be Monday, 15th June 2009. All proceeds will go to Christel House, a registered charity for impoverished, orphaned and abandoned children. The format for the day will be a Stableford team event with four players.
The tournament has received generous donations from partners in the timeshare industry in its previous six editions. Over $800,000 were raised from sponsorship and donations in the 2008 edition, when more than 2000 golfers took part in over 20 golf tournaments worldwide.
Those interested in taking part in the event and help raise funds for Christel House should contact Amanda White on Amanda.email@example.com or Sue Colby on firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss sponsorship opportunities.
