Azure Malta launch digital after-sales app – a first for the Vacation Ownership Industry

Sales and marketing specialists in the Vacation Ownership industry, Azure Services in Malta have teamed up with UK based personal video presentation service provider CitNOW to launch an app-based visual presentation that will harness advanced digital technology via an iPod device, in a simple and easy to use format.

CitNOW offers cutting edge automotive video marketing solutions, adapted for each and every part of the car dealership business, enabling a car showroom, workshop, website or body shop to grab the attention of its online customer by a personalised video. Azure asked CitNOW to modify the product, tailoring it to suit their new members’ requirements.

“Being a cutting edge kind of company CitNOW appealed to us in choosing them to create our video postcard app, a first for the timeshare, fractional and property ownership industry” Says Perry Newton, Azure Malta’s Project Director.

Rather than focusing on pre-sales, Azure wanted to vary the technology for its members’ after sales care. Once a purchase has been made, more often than not consumers are passed from sales to customer care, severing the bond created during the purchase process. Azure has harnessed the power of digital technology to give new members the comfort that the person they purchased their membership from is still there for them, even after the contract has been signed.

The personal video presentation service, a series of simple to use apps create a visual postcard to Azure’s members upon their return home, nurturing the relationship through a personal message from the member’s membership consultant and personal resort video featuring the five star Malta Golden Sands resort’s staff, along with Azure’s ambassador and British Television presenter, Anne Davies.

The initial statistics of the CitNOW.com project look extremely positive for Azure, with an 83%* email open rate over the first 28 days of the project being launched and nearly 7% of new Azure members watching their personalised video up to 6 times.
