At its Annual General Meeting on 24th Maym the Hapimag shareholders voted Kurt Scholl on to the Board of Directors.
He replaces the retiring Harald Früchtenicht. Kurt Scholl resigned as CEO of Hapimag at the end of April and was succeeded by Marisabel Spitz, previously President of the Board of Directors. She remains on the Board of Directors as a delegate but Giatgen Peder Fontana is taking over as President.
The presentation of the annual results represented the end of an era for Kurt Scholl. He led Hapimag as a prudent CEO for ten years, resigning as of 30 April 2013.
The President of the Board of Directors Dr. Marisabel Spitz and CEO Kurt Scholl were able to present a positive result to approximately 630 shareholders and guests. Despite a difficult economic environment in 2012, Hapimag, the leading company in the European market for rights of residence, again achieved a positive annual result of EUR 0.2 million (previous year EUR 1.2 million). The operating income remained unchanged at EUR 186.4 million. The shareholders approved the annual accounts with a significant majority and thus expressed their confidence in company management.
