Interval International is a sponsor of the 27th Annual Convention of the Mexican Resort Development Association (AMDETUR) to be held June 19-21 in Mexico City. The event is themed “The New Era of Tourism: Capitalizing on Vacation Ownership Opportunities.”
“We look forward to sponsoring this event and supporting the growth of shared ownership in Mexico. The sector has a positive impact on the economy through its contributions to job creation, tourism arrivals, and consumer expenditures,” said Marcos Agostini, Interval’s senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Latin America.
During the conference, Agostini will speak on the “Industry Update” panel and Reynaldo Ramirez, director of resort sales and service for Eastern Mexico, will participate in the student liaison program. Ramirez will share some of the highlights of Interval’s 2013 U.S. Membership Profile. The company also will host a luncheon for conference attendees with guest speaker Álvaro Rattinger Romero, one of the leading branding and social media experts in Latin America, who will share insights into brand building and developing a loyal customer base through social media.
AMDETUR is headquartered in Mexico City and represents the leading developers and investors in vacation ownership. Founded in 1987, the association today has more than 200 corporate members representing all segments of the industry.
