RCI has welcomed 11 new affiliated resorts in Turkey to its exchange holiday network since the beginning of this year. Collectively, the newly affiliated resorts offer RCI members many diverse holiday experiences in one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations.
“We are delighted to have welcomed 11 more resorts to our exchange network in Turkey this year, growing RCI’s network in the country to a total of 60 affiliated resorts,” said Ali Egilmez, RCI affiliate manager in Turkey. “Turkey is a real growth area for the hospitality sector in the East, and it continues to attract increasing numbers of inbound visitors. Choice is the advantage that lies at the heart of the timeshare ownership value proposition and we are pleased that so many resort developers in Turkey recognise the benefits of timeshare operation as a business model and continue to strengthen our industry with each new affiliation.”
The newest affiliations offer similar lifestyle experiences across a range of destinations in Turkey. The new options for RCI members include:
Premium Vacation Club 5* Hotel Istanbul
Elysium Vacation Club Taksim
Yalova Thermal Palace
Akropol Resort & Spa
Silver Palace Thalasso Spa
Hayitli Merada Thermal
Aklandia Bodrum Resort
Hitit Ayas Thermal
Erzin Isos Thermal
Turkey is one of the world’s fastest-growing holiday destinations, receiving 35 million tourists last year alone according to the Turkish Tourism Authority. The country’s travel industry is well-positioned to flourish with 48 airports, hundreds of beaches, nearly 30 winter sports centres, more than 40 official national parks..
Tourists often enjoy Turkey’s well-developed thermal tourism segment, which involves various health-seeking treatments such as thermomineral baths, mud baths, and hot spring treatments. With 34 thermal tourism destinations across the country, there is a great opportunity for shared-vacation ownership in the thermal tourism industry.
With this in mind, RCI created a special programme that brings together its affiliated resorts in Turkey that offer thermal spas and Turkish bath experiences. These options are particularly popular among RCI’s Turkish members who actively seek out resorts that match their lifestyle. RCI’s affiliated resorts in Turkey offer holidays that are aligned with traditional culture. Guests can relax in single gender Turkish baths, spas and swimming pools, while the on-resort bars and restaurants serve many types of drinks and halal meat.
