Travel & Leisure Group are pleased to announce the launch of their new website www.travelandleisure.co.uk.
Managing Director, Maria Farinas said “We are very excited by the launch of our new website. Over recent years, with the advancement of new technologies, the demands and expectations of customers has grown, particularly with regards to mobile devices. With smartphones and tablets replacing PCs as the default computing device for many consumers, as a company we need to recognise this and react accordingly. We have also found that more and more people find and use our website whilst on holiday so catering for mobile devices is now a top priority. The old version was looking dated and it made sense to move with the times.”
The design and development was headed by in-house tech guru Jim Wilson along with visual creation designer Soo Smart, from Double S Design. The design brief was to create a lightweight, sleek, stylish, website using the latest platform that was responsive to all technologies, desktop and mobile. It also needed to be future-proof for technological advancements in the future.
Maria Farinas continues “Jim and his team have done an excellent job, far above our expectations. The new website is a sleeker model of the original keeping Travel and Leisure Groups integral business model. The site is full of new features which includes a new client area where clients can personalise their property details.
Currently available in English, the planned deployment of the remaining foreign language websites (including Spanish, Italian, French and Norwegian) will happen over the forthcoming weeks.
