Following questions raised by consumers who purchased Monster Credits and who have since had unsolicited contact from various companies, the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit have issued the following alert: We are aware that some people are being contacted in relation to their timeshare and/or their purchase of Monster Credits by UK, Spanish & other international companies offering to obtain compensation on their behalf. Important advice re increasing risks related to timeshare claims businesses

On 22 February 2019, purported timeshare claims specialist’ businesses Meredith Pritchard Consultants Ltd. and First Law Solutions Ltd. were wound up in the UK High Court following action by UK authorities. The Insolvency Service presented petitions to the court on the grounds that both companies traded with a lack of commercial probity by failing to provide contracted services in a timely manner or at all. New consumer helpline launched

New consumer helpline launched

A new consumer helpline is being launched by KwikChex today for members of the public with queries or complaints about companies that are not in membership of RDO. This follows the decision taken by the TATOC directors last month to close their helpline service. This will complement the existing advice website, www.timesharebusinesscheck.org,  provided for consumers by KwikChex. The assistance given over the helpline will, like the website, be entirely free to consumers – providing a unique and invaluable service, with advice on concerns and complaints to timeshare consumers.
