Former RCI executive Vivienne Noyes-Thomas has embarked on the greatest adventure of her life, trekking to Everest Base Camp to raise funds for Christel House, the charity that helps children from backgrounds of abject poverty.
On 7th April, she left for the ten-day long climb up to Base Camp, where she and a group of friends will spend the night in freezing temperatures at 17,600ft of altitude. “This is going to be a challenging trip physically in view of the altitude and I hope to make it to Base Camp and spend a night on the roof of the world!,” she said.
Vivienne is hoping to raise funds to help the children that Christel House takes care of. “Just a few pounds can make a huge difference to these children’s lives, thank you in advance for anything you can do to support us,” she added.
