Perspective Forums (www.perspectiveforums.com), the first standalone social networking platform dedicated to the timeshare and fractional ownership industry, is already attracting a good deal of interest and positive feedback from the industry just weeks after its official launch.
The new site, an initiative by Perspective Magazine said to combine the most popular features of Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin, attracted more than 600 registered users in its first two weeks, generating more than 75000 page views and over 2000 friend requests.
“We’ve had a lot of feedback from users of the website, all of it positive, and it has started well, but there are still quite a few additional features to roll out,” said Paul Mattimoe, President and CEO of Perspective International.
The site was created to encourage communication between timeshare and fractional developers, marketers and suppliers, providing a platform to share views and discuss pertinent issues, as well as opportunities for new collaborations, strategic partnerships and growth.
Mattimoe expects the number of users will continue to grow steadily from word of mouth and the leverage of Perspective Magazine’s readership of more than 22000 industry professionals around the globe. “By the end of March we expect to have the largest social media group of industry professionals available online, and then we’ll only be at about 10% of the expected number of registered users for the coming months,” he added.
