Interval International announced the affiliation of Residence Rio Falze in Madonna di Campiglio, a prestigious ski resort in the Italian Dolomites. This destination offers excellent alpine skiing from December through April and is a mecca for hikers from June to September.
During the winter season, Residence Rio Falze is within walking distance of cross country skiing and a short drive (via the resort’s shuttle) from some of the world’s premier alpine ski slopes. Madonna di Campiglio has 32 ski lifts, serving 93 miles (150 km) of groomed ski trails as well as snowboard slopes. At an altitude of 5,282 ft (1,610 metres), it is on the International Ski Federation Alpine World Cup circuit. In summer, the valleys of Genova and Rendena are a hiker’s paradise with everything from golf to kayaking within easy reach.
Just over half of the 89 units at Residence Rio Falze are one-bedroom apartments, complemented by 20 studios and 20 two-bedroom units. All have a large balcony and kitchenette with microwave, as well as satellite LCD TV. In addition to its own ski school, Residence Rio Falze has a large lobby with a fireplace, sauna, reading and games rooms, laundry services, and a parking garage on site.
Guests will find a wide array of restaurants, shops, and entertainment nearby. A nine-hole golf course, covered swimming pool, tennis courts, ice skating, bike trails, and the Mondifrà equestrian centre are also just minutes from the resort.
