On 10th September, RDO welcomed Karma Royal Group into membership in the developer category.
The Karma Royal Group was founded by British entrepreneur and philanthropist John Spence, with its first resorts in India and South East Asia. The Royal properties now make up the largest independent shared-ownership brand in Asia. Building on this success, at the start of the new millennium, John set out to create a genuinely new template for luxury travel and lifestyle.
The Karma Collection is an expanding portfolio of elite boutique villa developments and stand-alone residences in some of the world’s most desirable locations. The enviable surroundings are matched by the resorts themselves, which marry architectural ingenuity, state of the art amenities and an approach to service that is not merely attentive, but also creative. The result is a pioneering approach to hospitality that is garnering rave reviews internationally.
Karma Resorts currently operates two exclusive oceanfront luxury villa resorts, both situated on Bali’s spectacular southern peninsula and a third on the island of Koh Samui, Thailand. It also operates a luxury villa residence on the Greek island of Mykonos and a spectacular estate in the South of France, once owned by Laura Ashley. Every resort has earned the highest accolades from both the industry and the media.
On its new membership, Vic Faulkner, MD commented ‘We are fully committed to RDO and by signing up, we are signaling our commitment to the aims and objectives of the organisation. We wish to work more closely with our business partners in Europe and membership of RDO will help us greatly in this’
RDO Chairman Richard McIntosh commented ‘I’m delighted to welcome Karma Royal Group to RDO and to see their growth into Europe, it’s great to see companies like this recognising the importance of membership.
