Interval International has announced the affiliation of Korora Bay Village Resort, a property located on Australia’s unspoilt Coffs Coast, midway between Sydney and Brisbane.
Beautifully situated where the mountains meet the sea, the resort features seven one- and 16 two-bedroom apartments. It is a 10-minute walk from Hills Beach and Korora Bay, favourite places for surfing and fishing in the South Pacific Ocean. Joe Hickman, Interval’s executive director for Asia Pacific, noted, "Korora Bay is the ideal spot for family holidays at any time of the year. On-site amenities run the gamut from swimming pools to a lighted tennis court and a large barbecue and outdoor group dining area. There is plenty to do nearby as well, including whale watching and exploring two national parks."
The hinterland of Coffs Harbour has many beautiful areas to discover, including Dorrigo National Park with its magnificent waterfalls, waterholes in the Friday Creek area, and picturesque drives through Nana Glen. Sea kayaking and surf rafting, kayaking in Bongil Bongil National Park, snorkelling at Solitary Island, deep sea fishing, and white water rafting are just a few of the many activities available in this part of Australia.
Korora Bay Village Resort is approximately 570 kilometres (354 miles) north of Sydney and 470 kilometres (292 miles) south of Brisbane. There are daily flights from Sydney to Coffs Harbour and it is an easy 3 ½ hour drive from the Gold Coast.
