RDO halves cost of sponsorship of

As we approach the season of good will, RDO brings good news for members interested in sponsoring the timeshare website, by reducing sponsorship costs by half.


The top sponsorship package, which includes banner advertising and the opportunity to submit four articles or resort features per year for publication on the website, as well as displaying the company logo and description, is now available for just 3,000 euros.


Since its launch nearly a year ago to counter negative online publicity for timeshare in Europe, has seen a remarkable increase in the number of visitors, particularly since the site’s inclusion in Google News in July.


Sponsors to date, including Group RCI, Interval International, Holiday Ownership Sales and Marketing, Seasons Holidays and Resort Properties, have benefited from the site’s success, with some of the articles submitted by them being picked up by Google News and syndicated to thousands of news agencies throughout the world. Petchey Leisure has been confirmed as a new sponsor for 2010.


“RDO sees the site as an important and cost effective means of getting our message out to the public and to the media, and we are looking at expanding our website strategy further in 2010,” said RDO’s Chief Executive, Paul Gardner Bougaard.
