RDO11 2020 Conference postponed to 2021
In light of the ongoing Coronavirus crisis, after careful consideration and consultation, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s conference RDO11, which was scheduled to take place at the 5* Pestana Vila Sol Premium Golf & Spa Resort, Vilamoura, Portugal on the 16th and 17th of September 2020.
While hopefully, we could be over the worst by September, that does not mean that members will be in any shape to plan for the conference or send delegates, and as the majority of our potential speakers are from or involved in the leisure industry, they will be unwilling to commit in the coming months to speak in September. We do appreciate that many of our members are likely to be disappointed, but at the same time we hope that they will understand that the decision was not made lightly and that RDO is considering the effects the current crisis will have on all members and we are doing our best to plan ahead.
We are however pleased to inform you that after reaching out to Pestana Vila Sol they have confirmed that we will be able to hold RDO11 on September 15th & 16th 2021, and are looking forward to welcoming us next year.
Timeshare has historically always proved to be resilient in times of turmoil, and we are confident that the industry will recover from this current crisis. RDO very much values its members’ and the ongoing support given to the trade association and remains committed to offering whatever assistance we can in these unprecedented times.
