VRI Management Canarias, which manages three CLC World resorts on the island of Tenerife, recently passed the external BSI audit for international quality management system ISO 9001:2008; which means for the seventh year running the globally recognised standard has been achieved at these resorts.
VRI Management España, responsible for managing CLC World resorts in mainland Spain, was audited earlier in 2014 and is also certified to the same quality standard under a separate ISO 9001:2008. These same resorts have been successfully quality audited for 10 years.
Both VRI Management Canarias and VRI Management España are subsidiaries within VRI Europe Limited, a resort management company resulting from a joint venture between Interval Leisure Group and CLC World Resorts & Hotels.
“The BSI certificate demonstrates VRI Europe’s commitment to continual improvement on an international level, and at staff level helps formalise what we and our predecessor company have fulfilled for many years, which is to offer excellent levels of customer service,” said José Luis Mella, VRI Europe Resort Operations Director.
Receptions at the VRI Europe managed resorts on the island,
CLC Paradise, CLC Monterey and CLC Sunningdale, as well as all other departments within the scope of the audit i.e. Resort Management, Housekeeping and Maintenance, display the ISO Quality certificate, BSI logo and certification number.
“We are all very proud that our standards continue to meet BSI’s stringent requirements, and I congratulate every member of the team working hard to ensure that is the case in Tenerife,” said Mr Tony Abello, Resort Manager for CLC Monterey.
