RCI has launched a new Facebook forum dedicated to its members across Europe and the Middle East. It is designed to bring together RCI’s growing community of members – and non-RCI members – to share their passion for travel, holiday ideas and stories, as well as to tap into RCI’s own holiday recommendations.
“A genuine passion for holidays and a leisure lifestyle lie at the heart of the RCI membership programme,” said Lisa Theanne, E-Commerce and Social Media Strategy Manager for RCI Europe. “Our members have long been sharing their RCI exchange holiday stories with our Call Centre Guides and our Endless Vacation magazine. Giving them their own Facebook forum to which they can invite friends and family, and talk with each other, is a natural step in strengthening our growing community of enthusiastic travellers.”
Posts will include travel and booking tips, engaging educational pieces to help owners get the best out of their timeshare and RCI membership, a showcase of the fabulous places and tremendous variety of experiences available through the RCI exchange holiday membership programme, plus regular features such as Wanderlust Wednesday posts to give RCI Facebook Friends something to look out for each week.
“As Facebook is open to everyone with an internet connection and, by its nature, creates community, we view this as an opportunity to raise awareness of the many benefits of timeshare ownership as a holiday lifestyle product. We hope it will support our industry and affiliates, as well as increasing social interaction with the RCI brand itself,” added Lisa.
