Interval International has announced the affiliation of the Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort. Scheduled to debut in July 2018, the newly transformed 120 villa beachfront resort will include comprehensive upgrades to all guestrooms and the addition of a water park and lazy river.
“Westgate Cocoa Beach will set the new standard for luxury beach vacations in Central Florida,” said David Siegel, founder & CEO of Westgate Resorts.
Renovations include new exterior finishes, a complete remodel of all interiors, a new lobby and a brand new 75,000-gallon lazy river. Owners and guests will enjoy two and four-bedroom deluxe villas furnished with a bright Polynesian décor and hand- carved tiki sculptures complemented by artistic sea life and flora and fauna murals. Each villa will have a full kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, table and bar seating, living area with sofa sleeper and dining area, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.
Guests will experience a host of onsite amenities, including an exciting new waterpark with a splash pad, two-story slide and a 335-foot lazy river. All of the Villas overlook either the resort’s renovated pool and tiki bar area or the brand-new Polynesian-themed water park. The resort also offers guests an exclusive beach & surf concierge service, heated outdoor pool, video arcade, beach volleyball, and beach rental equipment.
Located along A1A, the pet-friendly resort provides direct access to the area’s white-sand beaches and is just a short drive from popular area attractions, such as the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Ron Jon Surf Shop, and Port Canaveral, one of the country’s top cruise ports.
The resort’s complimentary shuttle service is available to visit the nearby Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier for weekly live entertainment, shopping, and dining, including the Rikki Tiki Tavern ideal for light fare and sunset cocktails.
