CLC Trenython Manor stands proud on a hillside; a stately style country home enjoying life as a hotel with beautifully renovated rooms and luxury lodges in the grounds, with splendid views over rolling countryside to St. Austell Bay. The elegant manor house has tremendous character, the work of an Italian architect for local military man Colonel John Whitehead Peard in 1872 as a gift from the famous General Garibaldi. Of course, the original owner never had a fully equipped gym, sauna and indoor swimming pool, or Treatment Rooms specialising in spa therapy face and body treatments. Gardens and woodland entice guests to roam and discover the bounty of nature in this kind climate. Situated just outside the village of Tywardreath, in an area associated with battles of the English Civil War, the resort is an ideal location from which to explore Cornwall with its glorious scenery, picturesque villages, gardens, galleries and parks.
