Karma Group announces new initiative in response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine

Karma Group founder and owner John Spence has announced that to help the large number of people fleeing Ukraine, Karma is turning its resort in Normandy into a hotel for Ukrainian refugees.

As well as providing accommodation it will give guests food and provide activities, especially for the children, as well as French and English classes for all.
Karma’s project manager, Victoria Williamson, is already in Warsaw working with local agents and is establishing short-term hotel accommodation in the city and then a coach transportation route from there to the Normandy property.
John Spence hopes that once the programme has been established, other properties will be included in the scheme to create further accommodation options.
He said “I recognize that given the size of the refugee crisis ( 1.8 million and growing daily ) this is only a drop in the ocean…

But as the great mahatma Gandhi said…

‘ you may never know what results come of your actions, but if you do nothing , there will be no results ‘
I am very passionate about this initiative and our ability to ‘ give back’, and i will keep you informed.
I would also like to thank the enthusiasm and keenness of everyone in the company who has scrambled to make this happen at very short notice , so that we can welcome our first Ukrainian friends later this week.”
