Richard McIntosh leaves Hilton Grand Vacations
Following a highly successful 33-year career with Hilton Grand Vacations EMEA, Richard McIntosh is to stand down from his position as Managing Director at the end of August. This follows the separation of Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) from Hilton Worldwide, which now operates as an independent company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). As a result of this change, a decision was made to adopt the same reporting structure for the European business as other regions of the company. As a consequence Richard’s role as Managing Director, Hilton Grand Vacations EMEA, based in Europe, will no longer exist within the company.
Richard and his wife Alison joined Craigendarroch as part of the opening team in 1985, and Richard was instrumental in the successful management and development of the company’s resorts in Europe over many years.
HGV itself is a founder member of RDO and Richard was Chairman of RDO from 2008 to 2012. He has also been a Board member for the past nine years and his position on the Board will be taken over by Michael Coletta, HGV’s UK General Manager.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Richard for his commitment, time and valuable contributions to the organisation over the years and wish him and Alison all the best in their future ventures.
