Interval International welcomes six Maeva resorts in France
Interval International, a worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of ILG (Nasdaq: ILG), added six Maeva resorts in the French Alps and the south of France to its global vacation exchange network. Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs Group, a preeminent French tourism and investment real estate company, has managed the Maeva properties, known for family-friendly holidays, since 2001.
“Interval has had a relationship with Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs since we affiliated its first timeshare resort in 1989 in Paris,” said Darren Ettridge, Interval’s senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. “The company was the first to combine property development and tourism, and continues to be a creative force in Europe. We are proud to have more than 20 of the Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs Group’s resorts in our network.”
Four of the recently affiliated resorts are located in the French Alps and include:
Maeva Plagne Bellecôte is part of Plagne Bellecôte, a pedestrianized resort in the Tarentaise Valley. Steps from the nearest ski slope and close to the Arpette cable car, the resort has its own skating rink, as well as a heated swimming pool, fitness club, shops, restaurants, and a cinema on site. The 406 one-bedroom apartments have a living area, kitchen, and private balcony with alpine views.
In the heart of Praz-de-Lys Ski Resort, Maeva Les Mouflons 1500 and Les Mouflons 2 feature panoramic views of Lake Geneva, Mont Blanc, and the Jura Mountains. Together, they offer 25 studios and 65 one-bedroom apartments, some with balcony or terrace. The cities of Annemasse on the French side and Geneva in Switzerland are less than 35 miles away.
Situated within the Méribel ski resort, Maeva Méribel Le Peillon Les Allues has 66 chalet-style one-bedroom units with stunning mountain views. The resort and the surrounding village offer a host of amenities and activities, including a cinema, casino, wall climbing, bowling, snowmobiling, restaurants, and entertainment. Méribel is located in the heart of “The Three Valleys,” one of the largest ski areas in the world, with links to two other adjacent renowned ski destinations in the French Alps, Val Thorens and Courchevel.
At an altitude of 6,561 feet (2,000 meters), the 106-unit Maeva Tignes Inter Residences is close to the center of the Tignes ski resort. On-site amenities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and tennis court. Ski passes, lessons, equipment, and storage can be reserved on-site. Each of the studios has a private balcony.
The resorts located near the beach on the French Riviera are:
Maeva Eden Parc is less than a mile from the beach in Saint-Tropez and a five-minute walk from the harbor. There is an outdoor swimming pool on-site and sailing and water skiing nearby at the Alizes Centre. The 104 studios have kitchenettes and balconies and guests can enjoy board games and a library in the common area.
Steps from the beach in the popular seaside town of Toulon, Maeva Hyeres Port has 42 studio units. Situated between the marina and the racecourse, the resort is also close to shopping and ideally located for exploring the famed Îles d’Or islands, Porquerolles, Port-Cros, and Île du Levant.
“This year, we celebrate 50 years of innovation built on strong and productive relationships such as the one we have had with Interval International for more than 25 years,” said Philippe Pagès, owner and property general manager. “We look forward to continuing to welcome Interval members to our European resorts and to providing our owners access to Interval’s quality exchange network.”
