We are very sad to announce the death of old industry colleague Martin Beesley, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday the 13^th of August.

Martin was one of the early developers of timeshare back in the mid eighties and was one of the pioneers in marketing his resorts in the Costa del Sol and Tenerife.

Very well known and loved by all that knew him, Martin was a straight forward speaker, to the point, and never short of an opinion or afraid of voicing it. His approach to the industry was always innovative and forthright and over a period of 30 years he built and ran two very successful resorts that are going strong to this day thanks to his leadership.

Martin sold the business over 4 years ago and since then had been enjoying a very full and active retirement, travelling with his wife Sue, visiting many sporting events world wide, fishing, boating and latterly flying his newly acquired aircraft.

Martin was one of the great characters in our business and he will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
