Don’t Miss Your Chance to Register for RDO9 Conference!

Earlier in the year we announced to you that the theme for RDO9 will be “ACT: Action Changes Things” and that the conference will be taking place on the 12th & 13th September, at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel and Spa in London.

Every year we aim to create a conference that is as educational, engaging and entertaining for our attendees as possible. In order to do this, we decide on a specific theme that we believe is highly relevant to the events that have taken place since the previous conference, and invite speakers from diverse backgrounds to inspire, educate and motivate you with their presentations surrounding this theme.

Some of the topics we are aiming to cover at RDO9 are:

  • Legislation
  • GDPR
  • Online reviews
  • Resort management
  • Consumer trends
  • Loyalty programs
  • Adding value through experiences

RDO9 will once again, like last year’s conference, be fitted into a slightly shorter time frame, but we are very much taking a quality over quantity approach. We have also decided to change the conference format, in connection with the theme.

We will be opening the morning sessions with a brief look at what timeshare promised to deliver to consumers (20+ years ago) and how it stands today which will “ACT” as a backdrop to the afternoon sessions. Within these afternoon sessions, speakers will focus on specific ways in which we can actually ACT i.e. what action will change things.

The proposed schedule for RDO9 will be:

  • Day 1: RDO AGM, then a welcome lunch, followed by breakout sessions and then an evening welcome reception with drinks and finger food.
  • Day 2: A full day of focussed conference sessions, interspersed with coffee breaks and lunch. The conference will end with a theatre evening that will be jointly sponsored by Interval International, RCI and RDO. There will then be an evening feast to round off the day and conclude the conference.

Whilst we can’t give definite details for all of the breakout and conference sessions yet, as things are still open to change, we were recently pleased to be able to confirm our keynote speakers will be Ellis Watson and Alex Hunter.

Registration opens on Tuesday 1st May and to find out more and register simply visit www.rdoconference.org. We are confident that this year’s conference will be even more successful than last year’s so you should definitely not miss out!!

Early bird registration prices are: £450 for RDO members and £600 for Non-members. For companies that bring more delegates or have not attended in the last three years there are also special discounts available. For these special discounts see the website for more details. Early Bird rates end at midnight on 30th June 2018.

Based on the excellent feedback we received from those of you who attended RDO8, we believe it was a big success and we are looking forward to seeing you all again at RDO9. It would also be great to see new attendees or those who haven’t been able to make it to some of the recent RDO Conferences.

We would like to offer a big thanks to this year’s Platinum sponsors, Interval International & RCI, and Gold sponsors, DAE & Shawbrook Bank.
