What to Expect at RDO9 Conference: Action Changes Things
For this year’s RDO Conference we will once again be returning to the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel and Spa in the stunning city of London. It’s not only this wonderful location that our attendees can look forward to though, but another exciting RDO Conference with a full line-up of inspirational keynote and guest speakers, superb networking opportunities and the promise of a brilliant time to be enjoyed by all.
For this year’s theme we decided to focus on ACT: Action Changes Things, because a willingness to change is absolutely imperative for success for businesses and industries that want to survive and thrive in today’s fast moving global economy. In fact change is one of the few absolute certainties in every area of life, including business. The pace of change, driven in large part by technological advancements, is increasing rapidly. This has had and will continue to have massive impacts on society, brands and entire industries.
While the pace of change and disruption is only set to grow, this shouldn’t be a sign for alarm, as the Travel & Tourism industry is in a very healthy state as increasing numbers of people are choosing to travel, often multiple times per year, as more are able to afford to discover the joys of exploring the world. Of course, this doesn’t mean that established brands such as those within the Timeshare sector can afford to become complacent, as the destinations people are travelling to, the way they choose to travel and how they are booking their vacations are all in a state of significant change.
This is why it is so vital now, more than ever, for the Timeshare and Vacation Ownership industry to take action and to change things, not merely for the sake of change, but rather to be constantly ready for the alterations that will continue to arise within this industry. Through instilling a sense of willingness to change within company culture, attendees will be able to create the right atmosphere for their hotels and resorts to be able to adapt, survive and thrive within today’s economic, technological and societal reality.
At this year’s conference we have some absolutely fantastic keynote speakers to help inspire and motivate you: Ellis Watson and Alex Hunter. They have both come from different backgrounds and can draw on a whole host of unique life experiences. These have lead to them becoming world-class motivational speakers who give keynote speeches at events and conferences all over the globe, to a wide variety of businesses and industries.
With the perfect combination of their superb knowledge and experience, mixed with their engaging personalities our keynote speakers with undoubtedly inspire delegate at RDO9 in London. John Spence, Chairman & Founder, Karma Group will divulge some of his winning strategies by sharing with delegates how he would reinvigorate a tired legacy resort without necessarily adding substantial financial investment which often is not available within these scenarios.
For the final session art RDO9, a panel of industry experts will share their experiences of change, reflect back on previous sessions and debate what actions could be made to the product and sales approach to bring about positive fundamental change. This dynamic session will also provide the opportunity for delegates to share their own opinions on what they have heard and seen during the conference.
