The Canary Islands becomes the first Spanish region in which tourists will be covered for travel assistance relating to COVID-19

The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of the Canary Islands Government has signed an agreement with AXA Spain for the subscription of a travel assistance policy applicable to all tourists traveling to the Islands, whether foreign or national, and with the order to respond to incidents related to the Covid-19, among which is the need to extend quarantine stays. It is with deep regret that we have learnt of the death of Christel DeHaan, founder and chair of the board of Christel House International. Christel died at home, surrounded by family. She leaves behind three children an older sister, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
