The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) has recently announced that Jason Gamel will be the new president and CEO, following an extensive national search lead by executive search firm, Spencer Stuart. After a successful 19 years as President and CEO of the American Resort Development Association, Howard Nusbaum has announced his intention to retire in 2019. The ARDA Board of Directors has appointed a search committee of its members to work with Spencer Stuart to conduct a national search for a new president. RCI and industry partners worked together to raise $133,440 for the ARDA International Foundation (AIF) during ARDA World 2018 in Las Vegas. The donation was largely reached through the “GIVE AIF X2 by RCI” initiative, which matched the AIF donations made by ARDA World attendees throughout the course of the conference. Interval International has announced the promotion of Soraya Gonzales to vice president of resort assistance and client services for the Americas. Based in Miami, she oversees the working relationship between the company and the resorts affiliated with its Quality Vacation Exchange Network.
