Interval International recognised for excellence in technology

Interval International received the ARDY Award for Technology Project Team at the ARDA World Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The winning Interval team was honored for its innovation in the development of the hotel exchange benefit and included a cross-functional group of software developers, business analysts, user experience experts, and quality assurance specialists. Despite the challenges of delivering a new technology with unique requirements, hotel exchange launched successfully and since then has generated bookings well above the forecasted numbers.

“We have a tenacious and resourceful team,” said Jeanette Marbert, president and CEO of Interval International. “They were laser-focused on delivering an outstanding customer experience and they did. We are thrilled they received this well-deserved recognition.”

The hotel exchange benefit allows Interval’s upgraded members to trade their weeks or points toward their choice of accommodations in leading destinations across the globe, including Chicago, New York City, Paris, and London. It is the latest enhancement to Interval Options® and its suite of benefits, which also gives members the chance to exchange for cruise, tour, golf, and spa vacations, or unique, curated activities and adventures through Interval Experiences.

“Our members are taking advantage of hotel exchange,” added Marbert, “and the seamless access to thousands of additional quality properties afforded by this award-winning technology.”

Also during the convention, Interval held its annual Party With A Cause in support of the ARDA International Foundation (AIF) at the House of Blues. Since the party became a fundraiser in 2003, the event has contributed more than $475,000 to AIF for its education and research initiatives.
